Today's photos is of a mountain range from Anza Borrego Desert State Park outside of San Diego, CA. It was taken last spring at the tail end of the cactus bloom.Hope each of you has a great day.

- Born in Miami, Florida in 1958, I grew up influenced by the beauty of the tropics and diverse culture of South Florida. My interest in photography began at age 11, when I was invited on an outing to the Everglades. On a cool winter day before dawn, I was loaned a 35mm Nikkormat camera and given brief instructions on its use. As the sun rose over the marsh, so did my excitement. Searching through the lens of this camera, my eyes were opened in a new way to the wonders of nature. Photography has truly had a profound effect on my life, providing a connection to the world through which my spirit is uplifted and renewed. Although I enjoy capturing a broad variety of subject matter, my real passion, set in motion so many years ago during that childhood trip to the Everglades, remains nature and wildlife photography.
